As a part of being in the School of Media Arts & Design at JMU, each student is required to take SMAD 203 - Foundations of User Experience Design. In the class Chloe has learned all about UX Design. The class was tasked with three different projects presented below. The first is a User Research Project where Chloe conducted research on Students' experience with a problem on campus. The problem Chloe chose to explore was study spaces. The second project was an extension of the first one. This time she was tasked with creating User Story Narratives that were modeled off the students she interviewed during the first project. Lastly, she was tasked with designing a app to solve the solution and or ease the pain of her chosen topic of exploration. The app was designed using all the wants and needs of the students interviewed in the first assignment.
